1993 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

We were contacted by the owner of this car as he was looking to have the exterior cleaned up and restored back to it former glory. This car spends a majority of its time in the garage with just slightly over 20k miles on it. The owner wanted to have a wheels off service performed along with a multi stage paint correction prior to applying CQuartz Professional.

A before picture just after being dropped off, prior to being washed and decon'd.

From far away the car looked pretty good, but upon closer inspection you can clearly see otherwise.

Heavy swirling and RIDS on the rear deck.

Paint Correction Process

With the car cleaned and decon'd it was pulled into the shop and we performed a test spot shown above. This was after the intial compounding, prior to polishing.

The barrels of these wheels have probably not been cleaned since they were new most likely. Heavy brake dust and grime built up on them.

While not 100% perfect, they certainly cleaned up much better.

With the paint taken care of we moved on to the light lenses.

Much better aftering being compounded and polished.

Fully polished and wiped down in prep for applying CQuartz Professional.

All coated and pulled out to inspect the vehicle.
