2003 Subaru Forester 2.5X

The owner purchased this vehicle brand new and has put many miles on it. She was looking to have it cleaned up on the interior and exterior, along with a Headlight Restoration Service and Trim Restoration. We performed our Standard Exterior Service to restore some gloss to the dull looking finish and clean up some of the minor paint defects.

Before Photos

Picture of the car just after being dropped off.

This vehicle has quite a bit of trim which has faded to a grayish color.

The headlight lenses on this car were very oxidized and cloudy looking.

One last before photo from the front.

Wash Process

The entire car was chemically decon'd prior to being washed. This picture shows IronX breaking down deposits on the surface of the finish.

The car was then treated to a strong foam pre-soak mixed with a degreaser to fully clean the surface prior to being washed.

The area around the gas cap was quite dirty and has not been cleaned in a long time.

After being cleaned with a degreaser and various brushes.

Fully cleaned and ready to begin the polishing process.

Polishing Process

The finish on this vehicle was in quite poor condition as you can see in this photo of the hood. The entire exterior was covered with heavy swirling and scratches.

Here is a 50/50 showing the results from the use of an all-in-one polishing wax.

Headlight Restoration

In this photo the passenger side headlight has already been restored, while the driver side still required restoration.

This is a close up of the driver side lens before starting the restoration process.

This is a 50/50 shot of the restoration on the lens. There is now quite a bit more more clarity to the lens.

With the process finished there is now lots of clarity to the lens which will result in far great lighting output at night.

Trim Restoration

This photo show the driver side of the front bumper being restored while the passenger side has not been.

Final Product

The car had a good deal of gloss once finished which it lacked prior.
